Yay, it’s spring at last! Our favourite time of year is here.
With Easter just around the corner, we’ve got some tempting treats to keep the little ones (and big ones) happy during the school holidays both in the coffee shop and the farm shop.
Nah then, do you ever get bored of making the same old thing for tea? If so then look no further, we’ve got some fresh ideas for new meals to add to your repertoire, in fact, you’ll find suggestions for a whole week! Take a look at this season's newsletter here, it's packed full of recipes.
We look forward to seeing you at Bolster Moor this spring!
NEW! Garlic Sausages
Have you tried our new garlic sausage?
This latest speciality is available at our butchers’ counter – beautifully garlicky and pretty special with a good cheesy mash, or try it chopped into a tomatoey pasta with lots of parmesan.
Go on, spoil yourself!
If you try one thing this springtime in our Coffee Shop, make it our baker’s own hot cross buns. Served lightly toasted and buttered, these warmly spiced beauties are reet grand with a nice cuppa. Happy Easter!
Keep yer' Gin up!
These days, gin is one of the best selling drinks in the Farm Shop. If this is your favourite tipple*, you’ll love some of our beauties that have been distilled in Yorkshire (Jacqson Gin from Holmfirth a favourite). Pair with a Fever-Tree tonic and a twist of lemon, lime or grapefruit - yes grapefruit, try it!
We also love the English Gin Co’s cucumber gin and their pomegranate gin. Aromatic, vibrant and quintessentially English.
The Bolster Moor bakers have been busy making Easter cakes for the Farm Shop and Coffee Shop, so you can enjoy them with us, or at home. From Easter chicks to chocolate nests, they sit pretty in our cake counters and are just too cute (and too delicious) to resist!
