Bolster Moor Farmshop is owned and run by Simon Haigh & Andrew Whitwam (second cousins) who formed their partnership in 1996.
They started manufacturing pies in 1999 this lead to numerous successful wins in many pie and sausage competitions and their business, then at Netherton ,quickly grew.
At Bolster Moor we identified that our family home and poultry farm needed to diversify if it was to survive to provide us with an income and a future for the next generation of 6 boys!
So after careful planning we opened our doors on 12th November 2009 followed in 2011 by our Coffee Shop.
Bolster Moor Farm Shop can be found 1000 feet above sea level above the village of Golcar. On a clear day you can take in the panoramic Pennine views.
